The organist is Bine Bryndorf playing the St. Mary's organ in Helsingør (Elsinore), Denmark, from vol. 1 of her complete Buxtehude set on Dacapo records (Youtube won't let me post a link, so go to dacapo-records (dot) dk and search for catalogue number 8.226002).
Hers is probably my favorite Buxtehude set. I especially love this piece played by her.
Interesting. No registration changes at all and no 16 ft pedal. It works in a tastefully mesmerising way. Who's playing? And where? Please solve mystery!
Beautifully played and so simply registered. It would be interesting to know who is playing and where. To those who already play this work - or are about to - a must "hear" !
