@ajoselowe I know it's been a long time since you posted that, but as a guitar player I totally disagree with your statement. Joe Satriani is an amazing guitar player, but so is John. They play completely different styles, so it is impossible to compare the two. Satriani is strictly technical, while John mixes technique with a sense of soul. Which one of them you like more is based solely on your opinion, but to say that one makes better music than the other as if it were a fact is false.

from one bluesman to another, who spends a crazy amount of time hunting for that tone that we all guitarist have in our head and most of us never find, how do you get sustain like that of when you're playing "outta of my mind" live in la? are you using an analog.man comprossor or a keeley compressor or what??
