Ben....what a talented, humble and gorgeous man... Even seeing him so frail and ill here, his charm is still glowing from within.. This must have been difficult for the other band members, especially Ric, as they were best buds..

This is just one interview on one day, but I think I see why the Cars broke up. Ric Ocasek is an overpowering dude who seems stern and aloof.

@gittahfiend Sorry, have no idea how that got there. I don't even think I typed it. Anyway, he had pancreatic cancer. That's a bad one. Usually 6 months to "get your affairs in order..." Damn shame.

my mom died of pancreatic cancer ( I wont capitlize it) . I real bitch, took her in six months. I salute Ben for having the fortitude for this interview.

@HuasoPodrido Hola Huaso! Te entiendo perfectamente. Mi viejo murió de lo mismo a los 71 años. Vivió con la enfermedad bastante más tiempo que Benjamin (2 años y 7 meses) porque lograron operarlo y extirpar el tumor, pero tuvo metástasis y le fue tomando gran parte del tórax. El último año lucía igual que Benjamin en este video. Abrazo!
