  • @PooleeCaron So are these the ones you'll be tested on ?

  • @lptennisjohn Crunches are bar none the easiest portion of a PFT to max out. Marine Corps has the easiest version of a crunch so it's inexcusable to not be able to get a perfect crunch score. I'm going to apply for OCS in the near future, and my rule is to max out the muscular endurance parts i.e. pullups and crunches and get within 20:00 for the 3 mile run. As far as crunches are concerned, I highly recommend sets of 100 no time limit and then timed sets where you go for as many as possible.

  • @PooleeCaron I'm applying to OCS, but I haven't run the PFT yet, mostly just going on long runs and pullups. What's the best way to get a 100 on crunches? Just practice?

  • Thanks for the info, guys.

  • I've been doing the crunches the wrong way this whole time. haha Thanks for the tips guys!

  • awesome.

  • Thanks guys
