I have the same problem. I didn't view your entire video so perhaps you got to this solution later. I run it with Firefox. My Freecorder got to the point where it was forever stuck waiting for audio. This sequence works every time. Open the browser then start Freecorder. Leave Freecorder up on your screen and close the browser. Reopen the browser and for me Freecorder then works perfectly. You only have to do this open/close sequence once.
