@bmzbg see, people don't know enough to know that Parkour is getting from A to B in the most efficient way possible. Freerunning on the other hand is normally artistic urban movement such as flips.

I am so sick of the people who says it's not parkour because it has one flip in it, or because they did moves that are not "efficient". Body control and knowing your limits is also a BIG part of the Parkour philosophy. I find the separation of the two terms so sickening the way people nag about it on videos on youtube.. I consider myself a traceur, even though i enjoy flipping as well. I interpret what parkour means to me, and develop my own style of movement from that. Parkour to me still
