God is an Astronaut is getting more known...so is Jakob. And rightfully so, both bands are phenomenally talented and relatively unknown until just recently. It's about time people took notice of the amazing music both these bands create.

nearly every post-rock band is similar to this in some sense ;-) Maybe i don't know enough Bands but at the moment i can't locate a Band which sound like them. Their music falls perfectly into place =) and while we're at it check out russian circles, a bit harder than most post-rock bands except from Pelican ;-)
