The ACLU-NCA organized a press conference on Thursday in front of the WMATA building to announce a campaign against bag searches, including an appeal for those stopped by bag searches to come forward as witnesses and possible plaintiffs in litigation. Among the speakers were Johnny Barnes (ACLU-NCA), Amy Cruice (ACLU-MD), Mike German (ACLU Natl. Legislative Office, ex-FBI), UDC Law students Aisha Ching and Samantha Holley, Thomas Nephew (MCCRC), Sue Udry (DCCLC), and Mike Mage (ACLU-Montg.Cnty).
