Very Interesting... I'm an American, who would like to see the U.S. become more like Canada. Please, Canada, don't become like the U.S. Forgive my intrusion, I know as an American it's not my place, but I agree you (Canadians) need legislation to prevent concentrated media ownership, or you'll end up with a PM like G. Bush! You don't want that! Long live Michael Moore, Right On Canada!

I LOVE Mel Hurtig. No one remembers but I remember when he ran for Prime Minister. He was going against people like Doug Henning's jumping meditators. Mel had a great platform, was thoughful, eloquent and had integrity. Guess who got a ton of media attention - and guess who got NONE? He was the first, and only, candidate that made me jump up and volunteer for him - but before I even got a chance to help him out - his campaign was over. The media just wasn't interested in a good candidate.

The man speaks the truth. Clear and concise, unlike our corporate madia. Unfortunatly this is nothing new, anybody who reads and watches with open eyes knows Canada is a true fascist (corporate/bank+government) state, w/ some window dressing elections. If Canuckistan ever was a of fee country, it started dieing long ago, even before the "Arrow" and Ike threatening Canada. The SPP Act was just the final nail in the coffin.
