I must have stepped on a sacred cow. If I found it soulful or sexy I'd surely appreciate it. My mind is quite open to many kinds of music. I'm no blues purist. I just don't find this at all compelling. It sounds constricted and flat to me.
Different strokes obviously as I'm clearly in the minority here.

@mbruns59 First of all this is PIETA BROWN singing------second of all, are you not capable of understanding and enjoying the subtlties of a soulful sexy version of a song that is usually belted out at full speed and at maximum decibels----give yourself a break-open your mind and ears-diversify.

Love Bo Ramsey, but her delivery has no fire. Why do Muddy Waters if you can't bring some fire to it?

I saw her with Mark Knopfler in Santa Rosa Ca. on the 14th , wish I could say I was impressed , everything sounded the same.
