some people haven't a clue, ive grown up country, merl haggard, mac davis, charlie rich, ray price, dolly, tonya, crystal, and of course charlie pride, seen them all growing up and now i can add Rissi as one of my all time favorites. race has not and never has been an issue in country music. im just glad Rissi kept it country.

@Abobojo I feel the same way. This is my first time listening to Miss Palmer. Her album is on my must have list. Totally great song. She is very talented. Skin color still matters judging by the comments. Sad sad sad.

It's good but it ain't new!
Who was Hank Williams Snr.'s guitar mentor in Greenville, AL back in the day? Not who you woulda thunk. Check it out.

@rebellee4 are you an idiot or have you realized that race doesn't matter. she is a good singer, you are a racist moron, and just so you know just because someone is black doesn't mean that when they sing they only sing rap. Have you not heard one of eminem's songs? he is white and he raps.

I didn't know that music was owned by white people and white people did not invent country music. And if you like your music white then you shouldn't support the white musicians and singers because a lot of their inspiration comes from black music.
