The storyline in the first one on overtime mode shows that frank was going to die no matter what. The 'cure' was temporary. But then it says that Isabela Keyes has made a a cure, so weither or not its permanent or not will decide if Frank will appear again or not.

I hope he does. maybe he pops in halfway through the game to kick some zombie gameshow ass.

But if its some super mutated zombie then I hope Frank's a boss or something.

I did hear somewhere you could unlock to play as Frank in DR2.
Not sure..

maybe you can unlock him as an online player or something
