The UpTake's Mike McIntee interviewed delegates and found there are varied reasons for supporting McCain, and some of them have more to do with his running mate than McCain himself.

We also get analysis of McCain’s speech from a media consultant who says the Senator spoke too much about Hanoi and not enough about the economy and solutions.

That was the original intent. Not only were the crusades against Muslims, they were also against Jews, Orthodox Christians, enemies of the pope and so forth. It was all about politics, money and religion. Surprise!

I was born into a VERY Christian household and 99% of the "Christians" I met throughout the country were hypocrites and definitely not Christ-like. It's all a facade. Lol @ New Testament. Ever study the ancient Egyptian religion? Horus IS Jesus. We stole the religion from Egyptians.

lovekitten8207, it's more the New Testament that is basics for christians. Jesus was a pacifist and even if he had strong appearences those were never about using force in practice! Muhammed and his followers on the other hand used force right from the start and even the qouran supports the war against all non-muslims. Before the crusades from 638(Jerusalem to 1071(Manzikert) it was the muslims who conquered and occupied former christian territories, the crusades were just about RE-conquest!

The same can be said about the Bible. There are many instances where God approved the rape, murder & pillage of other tribes. Even Jesus said in Luke 12 that he came not for peace, but division. Does this mean we should shun all who don't follow the Christian faith? No, Jesus was for acceptance & forgiveness. This is just another example of religious literature taken out of context & taken WAY too literally. There have been numerous crusades that have been declared for God throughout history.
