This short movie explores the question of whether or not the birth of Jesus, the Founder of Christianity to a virgin named Mary (engaged at the time to the carpenter, Joseph) is merely a myth, highly improbable, a scientific impossibility! If so, to be consistent we should also say that the spontaneous origin of living, reproducing cells from dead chemicals is even more improbable!

But life has obviously started somehow and the story of Jesus' birth to a virgin has strong historical support. Could the First Cause of life have also caused the virgin birth of Jesus? If so, what does this imply about Jesus and about the meaning of our existence?

  • Thanks for your comment, ikinmoore. Check out the nutter-dot-org articles referred to in the "more info" section to the right of the video. Evolution is not as certain as is often asserted.

  • lol i like how the adult is asking about evolution

  • Thanks for the brilliant effort in putting this out.

I too was once a "believer"...in evolution. I guess that's because that was the only position presented all throughout my schooling. Sad that "science" has to count on keeping discussion out of the classroom to promote it's position. If Creation was taught as an alternate theory (yes, boys & girls, there's too many holes in the "E" theory to call it fact), then perhaps we'd find far more people seeing the obvious truth - Intelligent Design.

  • Okay it's a nice little video yet Evolution has been proved so the message that " something could not come from nothing! " is wasted on those who have studied Evolution.
