Catch Me (A Nick Jonas Love Story) Chapter 46

*Nick's POV*
"Nick!" Lexy shouted.
"Yeah?" I said.
"Your costume looks so funny, no offense." I couldn't help but join in on the laughter.
"Well my lady, you don't look half bad yourself." I said trying to fake a British accent. We linked arms and laughed.
We were at practice for the play in 2 weeks. We had practice on Wednesday of next week and then Tuesday of the next week after. The same week that the football game, talent show, and prom were on. Yeah yeah yeah, we're in 11th grade but the football players have connections.
Yet, I have no clue who I should ask. It would've been Alexa but she's sorta taken.
"So Nick, you know we have to kiss right?" She asked. Duh, of course I knew.
"Yeahhh and?"
"Maybe we shouldn't tell Joe that."
"Good idea." I said.
Practice was really fun. The both of us just fooled around. We knew all our lines already. Practiced them too. Except for the kiss. We're waiting for the show to do that.
Lexy and I always got closer at these practices. I already felt the urge to kiss her after each practice but I knew I couldn't.
"Nick, Ben & Jerry's after practice?" Lexy asked. She was still in her costume. Cute.
"Sure." We linked arms and marched around the stage.
Did I mention we got a bit crazy here too?

Lexy was hysterical. She wouldn't stop laughing.
Apparently some asshole was in a rush and hit my ice cream cone, making it fall all over me
It made her laugh harder when I tried to savor the taste I never got when I shoved my face down to my hands and tried to eat what was left of the cone. Instead, as I looked up, my face was sticky and covered in ice cream.
"Oh my gosh!" She laughed harder if even possible. I decided to get her back by giving her a hug. Sure enough, ice cream rubbed off of me and onto her.
"Eww Nick!" I had a sly smile on my face after pulling away.
Her frown quickly became a smile.
"Come on lover boy." We walked down through the park. One of our favorite places.
Every memory made me smile. But what comes with a memory, is hurt.

I really like the Lexy and Nick chapters haha.
&& Nick's ice cream part, lol. Like, the ice cream fell down and he tried to eat it by shoving his face down to his hands making him look like an idiot. Get it? Makes sense? A little? Haha.
