Sunshine shares the story of how God worked a miracle for her. There was a period of a few weeks where I was not on Youtube. During that time I was in a self administered, or should I say Holy Spirit administered rehab.

I was addicted to coffee as well as fast food. I saw those two addictions as symptoms of bigger issues. The fact that I relied on coffee was a sign that I wasn't relying on my heavenly Father as much as I needed to. I was trying to do more than perhaps I needed to be doing at the time, and I was over working myself. The fast food addiction showed me that I was not prioritizing my life properly. Since my husband is the provider of our family, it is his job to work outside the home and my job to work within the home. WIth that in mind, there is no reason why I should not be able to provide home cooked meals for him, It is my duty. Not to rely on fast food. The fact that we were eating a lot of junk food made me take a look at where my time was being spent.

I felt convicted by the Holy Spirit to make some changes beginning with those two areas. I felt that God wanted me to work on my role as a wife and mother.

So I took some time and I focused on just that. I put work on the back burner and I kept Shea Baby home with me. I got back into the routine of cooking dinner and packing lunch for my husband. I focused on catering to my husband and making sure he was being cared for as the head of the house.

I fasted for the purpose of breaking my addictions and also for the purpose of being a better wife to my husband. I prayed for a miracle to take place in my life. During that time I was physically weak at some times and emotionally weak at others. But God is faithful. He brought me through it. He answered my prayers, worked a miracle and is still working in me.

Believe me, God answers prayer. He does miracles. He loves you and wants to honor your obedience. Get serious about prayer and watch God work.
