  • I hate it when I play against people who don't know how to hit properly. If I didn't have a shield on my face, I'd have many scars, just from how many times I've had gloves in my face. Also, if I ever become a coach, I will use this drill. It teaches all the essentials of checking.

  • @Hockeyfan315 it's a good one... we'll be putting out plenty more checking/angling drills, so stay tuned!

  • Awesome video dude :)

  • @Pokemonisepic1 thanks!

  • Great vid, but I'm no coach xD

  • Nice drill! I'm going to use it to start showing my pewees how to angle.

  • Awesome drill Weisy! Will use it with my Nats team tonight! Keep up the great work!

  • teaches the D to engage the forward to low in the zone. From the looks of it theyll either be taking them out below the hashes/in the corner or mid-slot. if the drill was started higher up, (Say red line) the D can engage between the blue line and the top of the circle. Also the positioning would be more realistic compared to game play. A final advantage would be that goalies see better shots. (though the F coming out of the corner or working the back is good for post work and positioning.)
