An excerpt from World Wide Magazine, a public access TV show from St. Louis, MO. The show was created by the late Pete Parisi.

This is a series of three clips that involve the WWM crew going to McDonald's and trying to make sense of things. The first is Pete and Cathy going to the fast food chain and asking the workers why a double cheeseburger is more expensive than two cheeseburgers. The second is more of the same except with Pete at a drive thru. The third is one of my favorites. It was shot at a McDonald's on Grand and Chippewa in South St. Louis. Since then, the drive thru was reconfigured to avoid the line of questioning Pete gives them and us. That location also has been the subject of some controversy involving it being moved to a nearby location.

  • I'm pretty sure that the first and second clips were both at the one on South Kingshighway near Delor. I miss this show.

  • The backwards drive thru was at the now closed MCDs at Chippew and Grand.
