echo )) wifi (( location is a brand new project that has
the idea of using creativity, existing wireless technology, existing "any
other" technolgies, laziness and, hopefully, little programming to be able
to track wifi devices. The talk will cover (but not limited to) the
inspiration of the project, a little ranting about some existing location
tracking stuff, the possible use of modified APs to act as distributed
sensors and/ or the development of a multi-platform client for wifi or any
other devices, reporting "where they at", applicability of this (track
friends, enemies, devices) and hopefully get some more people involved in
the project.
