@OfficialRRRMusic i use BACKTRACK 4, i download it from the site(google it) and burn it to a cd/dvd. i also use a usb wifi dongle , the model of it that works for me is NETGEAR WG111v2

and the console commmands are long, just send me your email and ill email them to you, its easy to hack WEP, but i dont know the commands for WPA which is what im trying to learn how to hack RIGHT NOW, any help anyone??? gracias amigos!

@kyokorn hey dude, i already hacked a wep password from a 2wire wifi connection signal, but i want to hack something different from it. you know when you open a console and type in ipconfig and then type that ip into a webbrowser? it takes you to the routers page where you can make changes to the system like changing the password, in order to make any changes, it asks me for another password, set up by the owner, is there a way to hack that? hit me up yea, i really wanna learn if theres a way

FYI, the ptw attacks for aircrack are integrated into standard aircrack-ng as the default attack so you would probably just want to run aircrack-ng name_of_capturefile now. also, I don't know if the -1 attack for aireplay is particularly effective for 2wire WAPs, but I have found the -3 option to be far superior in my own wifi auditing work, e.g. aireplay-ng -3 -e SSID_of_WAP -h REAL:MAC:ADDRESS:OF:ASSOCIATED­:CLIENT - got similar and excellent results cracking a 104-bit key recently,.

@mitty2575 There is a port of this software for windows, but as windows has poor network interface control in general compared to linux, it may not work (the issue has to do with running the wifi interface in promiscuous mode IIRC). There are linux LiveCD distros that are capable of doing this - I recommend backtrack as it is by far the most capable without having to install a lot of packages.

Hola, he estado usando el metido -ng y no he tenido problema alguno, el unico problema actual despues de una actualizacion es que cuando pongo mode monitor mon0 1, pero cuando hago la identificacion me dice que mi monitor esta en canal -1? he intentado poner varios canales y nada aun siempre esta en -1. Si has encontrado algo parecido te lo agradeceria. Saludos.
