I don't see this as racist; this is hilarious. I've never seen a white guy actually dance to reggae the way it's usually danced to, just like I've never seen a black guy headbanging or Devil Horning a good rock song. Our inability to cross into each other's cultures should be chuckled at, not shunned due to sensitivity.

Would you ever have this switched around...with the white guy danceing?

They need to start playing this commercial again, every day

@AlexRGravlin This backing track is very typical of the earliest reggae, circa 1968-1970. Look up "Skinhead reggae" (the earliest skinheads were huge reggae fans, oddly enough) and you'll find much like this.

@heyouguys50 that might be because you forgot to play Reggae music.

@detroit31309 its a joke, hopefully no one takes offence, come on lighten up!!

@duffman13045 sterotypes are around because they are patially true. however the white people can't dance sterotype is fully true i believe haha. oh well at least red stripe tastes damn good!

@heyouguys50 I've been drinking Red Stripe for a while- and I still can't dance. I'm also white-maybe that's why? Just had to comment cause your post made me laugh.

@adaghost: Cannot forget Toots and the Maytals. That is essential Reggae.

I don't like reggae, but I like this song. Anyone know of any instrumental reggae artists that have a similar sound? Instrumental, because I don't really feel like listening to some stoner douche singing about his ganja habits.

I'd have to say the closest reggae to what you want is roots reggae. Older era stuff. Some artists to get you started would be Burning Spear, Alpha Blondy, Culture, Gregory Isaacs and Israel Vibration would be the first ones that come to mind. Check out the wikipedia page about roots reggae too.

And you can never go wrong with older Bob Marley stuff, like it sounds as if it was recorded in a 1 room shack :) Great tracks.
