i always have trouble with my footing if the ball is further away so you have to take a few extra steps and then do left rite...shuld i do the jump set or no?
if you are a left handed setter is the footwork still the same. I'm rather ambidextrous so I do both but no one has ever taught me if there is a difference.
u never stop training the technical no matter if u have it down or not or no matter if uve been playing for years...the fundamentals are always part of it...
tell me, how the hell do you set to the zone 2 from this position, if I'm coaching on the other side, and this girl is setting, my blockers are moving 3 feet to the right as you can see that the ball will go to either zone 4 or 3...
that is a 2 ball. more specifically, its a 32 ball. its use is for the outside hitter to sneak in a hit past the inside of the block and at a quicker pace. it's usually camouflaged by a fake run of a 1 ball by the middle, in order to keep a 1 on 1 block. a 2 ball can be set from anywhere too, its just a reference of height like schnutzle said.
