@Grendo147 he had shot down 62 planes at the end of the war. that gave him the best kill streak of any surviving aviator from WWI (manfred von richthofen aka. red baron had 80). and to say that the war was lost for the nazis (WWII) after the invasion of russia is not true either.

one of the best performances ever on film, EVER, is by Curd Jergens: he plays Udet kind of. The Devils general. Man is he ever terrific in it: you can watch it endlessly for his inhabiting the character.

Wahnsinn!!! Als kleiner Junge hab ich das meinem Großvater nie geglaubt. Dass der Udet angeblich mit ner Bückers Jungmeister ein Taschentuch vom Boden aufheben konnte. Und jetzt seh doch tatsächlich den Beweis. Danke Granddap für dieses historisch einzigartige Dokument!
