Sudden cardiac arrest strikes with little warning. Having an effective cardiac arrest response system (CARS) and automated external defibrillator (AED) program means that a Cardiac Science AED device is close by and that your target responders are equipped with CARS lifesaving confidence.

Thats not right, an AED G3 needs only 2-3 seconds for charging, analizing ca. 3-4 seconds.

  • AED Giveaway... Yep, American Med Supply is giving away an AED, and a bunch of other cool prizes. Just look up American Med Supply on YouTube for all the details. You don't have to buy anything or anything like that.

  • No, my brother had no heart conditions previous, they did CPR on him as a rehearsel for a Lifesaving Course/Examination. I think he went into Ventricular Tachycardia.

  • Is your brother familiair with cardiac conditions? Why were they doing CPR on him and what sort of rythm-change did he have? I would be very interested in that information, since CPR on a healthy person shouldn't cause a disturbed rythm, and I work on cardiology.

  • What do you mean it isnt true? It happened to my brother! He was 3 months in a Cardiology ward because someone did CPR to him which disturbed his heart Rythem

  • This is not true. Performing chest compressions on a person with a normal rythm will NOT change the heartrythm. However, it isn't advisable because of possible ribfractures and contusions.

  • That was a Philips fr2 defibrillator.

  • Blocking off the Scene would only make it harder for Emergency Access. Also, I know this is only a demonstration but any movement, even if she was bending her elbows to look like CPR was being performed, is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. NO CPR, OR ANY DRAMATIC MOVEMENTS OVER THE CHEST REGION SHOULD PERFORMED. Someone with a weak heart could very easily have had a Cardiac Arrest, or change the heart Rythem

  • They coulda moved a bit more, jehez

  • good work!
