@Hebert6760 Airbags in many vehicles do not go off if the seat belt is not fastened - high probability of the occupant being in the wrong position and injured by the deployment. Airbags are solely a supplement to seatbelt restraint, and are NOT adequate restraint on their own.

Seatbelt system has monitors, if you're not wearing a seatbelt, it won't deploy.
If it deploys when you're not wearing a seat belt, there can be more potential injuries.

actually i think the dislikes are because the airbag didnt deploy on the without one and it did with the safetly belt on, maybe those 15 people including me saw this and realized its biased

@Hebert6760 Because the car didn't know there was somebody sitting in the front seat. Notice that it didn't go off on passenger side at all.
