@flashofpink Goldfish don't tend to spawn very well in an aquarium set up as in this video. Successful spawning requires a few tricks to simulate the natural conditions the fish would encounter in a river. This will stimulate both the male and the female. It’s advisable to only have the mating fish in the tank as seen in this video by another fish feeding on the eggs.

@flashofpink why dont you hand spawn them .Its easy ,you can find a lot on net and here on utube

You should turn off the filter or air pump for 2 hours until spawn us finished for a better chance if to fertilize. Mine hatched last week and doing great hope this helps

the other one is very busy, eating the eggs. Free snack
?? How can you tell if they are male or females? I did so much research but have not found a right answer.

Mature males normally have a series of raised white bumps on the leading edge of their pectoral fins and on the gill covers. Females have round "outie" vents, while males have elongated "innie" vents.

Did they hatch? and did they survive?

No, it didn't work out. They've spawned a couple times since then and I've tried to save some eggs, but the spawns have been small and mostly unfertilized eggs since then. I'm hoping there will be another big spawn so I can raise some fry!
