  • sergei nakariakov's playing of this is better

  • the lady sitting just behind kristof looks like she would like to slap the piss out of him

  • @trogerhunter , no need to be sarcastic, just repeating what my own extremely knowledgable and experienced violin teacher had previously told me. i would never ever question the brilliance of any of these violinists, whom i look up to and admire. this is a brilliant performance no doubt, as i previously mentioned, and this is just my own opinion, which worked for me in my own performance of this piece (please keep in mind there is more than one way of interpreting a piece...)

  • @lovebug93 then you should tell this to Hahn, Zukerman, Mintz etc etc..funny...lol

  • bravo complimenti.

  • az a természetes könnyedség...:)

  • I'm playing this on Friday (n viola)!!! Last Friday was our first rehearsal and we were expected to sight-read it at nearly full speed. I started thinking: "Boy, I wish I'd practiced this..." while the notes aren't too hard, they aren't easy to sight-read quickly.

This video helps a lot!!! Great playing! I actually like this one more than the other video on Youtube - I think it's too rough.
