@possession2 That's where the problem lies. Christianity has had to change itself to remain relevant. If you actually stuck to the Old Testament (or even the New Testament) Christianity would be become irrelevant as the centuries passed. Islam on the other hand has been a timeless religion applying to all times and that has shown in the fact it hasn't had to change and is and has been for a long time the world's fastest growing religion. We have one book, one set of ideals and morals, unchanged

Ah, dear Maryam Namazie, I admire you so! No man can ever fully appreciate quite what it is to be a woman living in the shadow of Islam. I can't speak for women who willingly accept their fate, telling themselves it is their duty to Allah to be meek and grateful for any small mercies afforded them, so long as they remain subservient. @venusinfirth here here! I've seen videos of palestinian mothers praising the upcoming deaths of all her children. I cannot imagine how a mother could stand to lose her kids in this way. Hamas indoctrinates these people so heavily into thinking that killing Jews brings such high honour. It's quite disturbing. You know, I tried to see a hint of pain in this mother's eyes over the upcoming death of her kids. Quite heart wrenching.

@Jaffaraza Islam didn't have to "change" because it never wanted to. As centuries passed and the world evolved, Islam kept enforcing 7th centuries dogmas and rejecting everything else. This is stubborn arrogance. Just like medical female Muslim students who refuse to wash their forearms in hospitals because they would show their skin. @Jaffaraza Pure propaganda Actually, secularism, human rights and democracy dissolved the power and influence of the church; All the same ingredients as Muslim populations in many "Muslim" states are rebelling for now. Despite this handicap, Christianity (Without threat of violence) continues (as it always has) to extend its influence beyond Islam. What's funnier still, is that whilst "faithers" argue over who's "invisible friends" fan club grows quickest, Atheism/Humanism is out-pacing both! :D
