Teleprompter monitors and screens that are often inadequate for outdoor use, appearing washed out and difficult to read, especially in bright sunlight.
Standard teleprompters tend to wilt in bright sunlight. Faded text, glare on the glass, and squinting eyes are all results of the typical inadequate sunscreen. The only quick fix is to blacken the back side of the glass. But that's assuming your presenter doesn't mind being eclipsed by a set of dark presidential paddles.
