Diet for ADHD. This video gives the general overview for a proper adhd diet and some examples of some foods that are not good for ADHD. It also gives examples of some foods are are good for ADHD and how to reduce the symptoms by keeping the blood sugar stable. The main principles are the same for children or kids or adults with ADHD. Eat a good amount of protein to balance the blood sugar and give natural energy. Reduce sugar to nothing and lower the amount of carbs (sugars, fruit, vegetables, desserts,) that spike the blood sugar.

Good vitamin and mineral supplements are needed as part of a good diet to help with ADHD. The supplement needs to be from a good source, in the proper form to be used by the body, and small enough to pass into the cells.

  • @Feezlebee Did someone with ADD recommend magnesium, Vitamin B complex and iron for you or is it just something you wanted to test out for yourself?

  • Your ADHD kicked in right there when you where talking about the cows (I think). i am still learning when mine kicks in i was only diagnosed about 6months ago. I am taking notes from your video. Thanks for the tips :)

  • I can tell that your add is much under control. Thanks for the video.

  • I was told that sugar and salt (i.e. soy sauce etc.) INDUCES HYPERACTIVITY AND TEMPER. A nutritionist actually mentioned this. If you change just those 2 ingredient within 1 week, you will be able to tell a drastic difference.

  • I can tell that you have ADD. I just finally discovered that I have ADD. For a long time I thought maybe I was autistic or slow or something, but after researching ADD and seeing other people with it, I know that this is my problem. Also I just wanna let you guys know that ive been taking magnesium, vitamin B complex, and iron supliments everyday along with a good diet of protein and it seems too help out with staying focused. And your right, stay away from the sugar. It makes it so much worse.
