To state that the conditions currently facing blacks in America and the Dalits of India are similar is absurd. The conditions of blacks in America in the 1950s was similar to the state of Dalits today. Blacks have achieved enormous advances towards equality in America since then, whereas the conditions facing Dalits has changed little. The narrator is obviously one of these people who will forever claim that America is a "racist" society in order to justify his own bogus sociopolitical agenda.
