Alicia Pons Tango Intensive

Here's a video of EL CENTROs workshops with ALICIA PONS in March 2009. With warmth and charisma, Alicia did an outstanding job of living up to her reputation. As one participant later remarked to us: As a teacher, she really knows how to CONVEY, so people can really experience what she is talking about in their own dancing.

For her part, Alicia enjoyed this first visit to Vancouver and was struck by how receptive everyone was to the message and material she was delivering. We were fortunate to have ROBERT HAUK, who came up especially from Portland to assist Alicia in teaching, and whose input was articulate and clarifying, as always. Together they took us on a voyage of discovery into the intimacy and wonder of dancing on the inside tango as an inner experience.
