when you say opposite darts on the other piece do you mean like a mirrored effect of the darts on the first piece ? so they match up if you put the pieces together dart side facing eachother.. if that makes sense. thanks (:

Darts are basically a way of perminantly pinching the fabric to help create a form (example bust dart- fits bust area).
So basically you take your fabric INSIDE OUT connect the 2 end points of the triangle match them up to each other so it will look like your fabric in half and the triangle should look halfed also, pin togeather then sew on the actual line. When your done you leave the access fabric their but iron it flat for normal fabric, im not sure if your doing fur?. Hope that helped :D
