Recent changes with stress and 'location' are starting to make me lean towards being an eaty eaterson. Fortunately I'm pretty strongwilled

  • diets that make you eat diferent foods then you want to eat are stupid and dont work imo eat what you normally would just smaller portions otherwise the cravings will ALWAYS be there and you will eventually go back to eating ur regular food and gain the weight back forcing urself to eat foods you dont enjoy eating is punishment eventually you will want to stop eating those foods

  • i think like drugs and alcohol - when the stress hits - the default is to use. you have to relearn ways of dealing with stress. it's hard. but doable. learn to reward yourself in different ways than food. the reality is overeating is not our friend - it's our default to coping with stress that has been with us since we were young. we don't change habits - we replace them with new ones.

    you're doing great - just do it one day at a time - maybe that will help and certainly is what addicts are told

  • That doen't mean they are responcible for everything you do, but that If they catchv you doing something you shouldn't then they will interfere. It's kinda tough but I promise you: It is also really funny!

  • boogie, listen, I have an extremely good advice that I use myself when there is something I need to do: I give my girlfriend/friends/anyone I know 100% PERMISSION and make them PROMISE to FORCE me to do whatever it is I need to do, like in your case eating right. That means it can get PHYSICAL even. allow them to TAKE bad food from you and throw it in the trash. make a deal with them! And tell them not to stop or hesitate just because you may get angry. IT WORKS!
