Tom Berenger, Deborah Winger - "Betrayed" clip #6

This is a really gripping film about an undercover agent (Deborah Winger) trying to infiltrate a white supremacist group. Berenger plays Gary, one of the suspected supremacists. Winger finds herself drawn to Gary.

In this scene, the "hunt" mentioned in clip #5 turns out to be something far more sinister and appalling than Katy (Winger) anticipated. She flees, but is entreated by her superiors to return to Gary, and continue her undercover work. In this scene, she must convince him that she still loves him.

Buy the movie on Amazon! It's really good, but has a disturbing theme (about racism and white supremacy) and some violence.

The planet earth is HELL, Hell is a place of death. The Bible is a history book of good and evil, and this history book is not allowed to be taught in our schools. Ooooh his sweet, pleading eyes! He is hard to hate. Look how he closes the door and drapes with that "I am going to bang you all day" body language. Then it gets weird; why does it look like he is raping her?

Do we agree that after Wes tells Gary that he suspects Katie of being FBI, Gary is suspicious too but does doesn't want to believe it so he tries to push it away. Otherwise, why not call her out on it? I also do not understand at the very end (when he almost shoots that governor guy) why he says, "I wanted them to find a dead FBI agent shooter." Huh? He wanted them to find HIM dead after shooting HER?
