GB Airways was a UK airline; prior to its dissolution it was headquartered in “The Beehive,” a former terminal building, at London Gatwick Airport in Crawley, West Sussex, England. It operated scheduled services as a British Airways franchise to 30 destinations in Europe and North Africa from Gatwick and as well as Heathrow and Manchester. The company ceased operations on the 30 March, 2008 following its purchase by EasyJet in January 2008.

@210482fmj You're free to disagree but facts are facts. The air isn't any different then the air on the ground, in fact it's probably cleaner then the air in Los Angeles. The air isn't created by a machine, it's merely sucked in, like a vacuum cleaner.

@voldemort2123 I dissagree with you. Being in a pressurized cabin is alot more different than being on a high elevation mountain. For starters on the ground you are breathing natural clean air. In an airplane you are breathing air created by a machine. IT's a completly different enviroment. On a high elevation mountain you are not in a pressurized metal tube.

@210482fmj It really grinds my gears when people say this. Being in a pressurized cabin is no worse for you then being on an 8,000 foot tall mountain on a dry day. What isn't healthy, is the radiation and the constant time zone change for those flying east-west, west east

@gregjrmunro GB Airways operated under British Airways as a subsidiary until March of 2008 when the company got bought out and ceased operations. Everything was handed over to EasyJet.
