"Love Hurts" was actually first recorded by Roy Orbison, then the Everlys, and years later by Gram Parsons and Emmylou Harris. The Nazareth version comes in dead last.
Albert Lee is playing mandolin, not guitar, on this.

As much as I like the Everly Brothers, Gene Vincent and the Johnny Burnette Rock n Roll Trio did much better versions of this several years before.

Oh yeah --- a great song! Written by Boudleaux Bryant and recorded first by the Everly Brothers in 1960.
They re-recorded it in 1964 as well.
