Thunderstorms July 28, 2009

This was my 30th birthday and what better way to spend it then on the beach with an approaching thunderstorm. The pier in the background in the new Dan Russell City Pier. The older pier was severely damaged from 3 hurricanes in 2004-2005. Check out the hurricane videos I have and see what happened. Last night I only got 3 good pics but its better than nothing at all! After sunset lightning could be seen all over and about 9pm they came ashore. This makes 2 years in a row that I got a thunderstorm on my birthday with lightning captures. 11 pics July 28 2008 and 3 pics July 28 2009.

Thanks. A storm is better than no storm my friend. This year has been extremely slow for hurricanes and thunderstorms.

Ugh im so freakking scared of storms.

Here in north carolina we had about 3 tornados touch down near my house. scary stuff right there.
