My Centaur Ride

This was at the world's first Segway Dealer meeting. The word was that Segway had something new up their sleeve and we would be blown away when we saw it. They couldn't have been more right. Eveyone's jaw hit the floor when one of the techies drove this bad boy onto the stage. The next day they blessed us with the opportunity to ride it. The Centaur. I believe they only ever made three of them. One out of the two they had at the meeting with them wasn't even a finished product. It looked sorta rough around the edges but ran like a dream. The finished one looked incredible. Let's just say I would have traded my next 50 yrs. of Christmas presents for one. The ride was simply incredible. By far the funnest vehicle I have ever ridden. As far as i've hear Segway has no plans to mass produce the vehicle but who knows. If they ever do I'll be the first in line to buy one. Full credit of this video goes to Segway LLC and the incredible technichians that have designed such incredible machines.

Right now you can't. They only built three of them and couldn't generate enough interest to justify mass producing them. I wish they WOULD make more, that machine was the funnest thing I've ever ridden! Maybe if enough people email Segway expressing interest in buying one they would consider it again.
