  • The trouble with putting music over the top of classic film clips is that it appears impossible now to find, on youtube, the clip with the original soundtrack of this scene - which, for its earthy reality, is unimprovable - get that - without need of "improvement".

The result of this barrage of overdubbing is - that for as good as everyone's favourite song to put over the top of this clip, it makes me cringe to hear them.

The scene is great, and so was the soundtrack.

  • @ouchouchgrandma Can't top the music of Michel Legrand. These "mash ups" are tres lame!

  • @Gilbertojule watch?v=sq2s60oxlv8 VOILA!

  • Does anyone knows where can i find it with thr original song? or the name of it?

Alguien sabe donde puedo encontrar el video con la musica original? o el nombre de la cancion? solo se q es de Michel Legrand.

  • @yeah0thats0fine Indeed.I would love to hear what Godard himself makes of such practice.

  • @yeah0thats0fine I agree-- please, leave a classic soundtrack alone!!! The original, which I was just watching, has music that cuts in and out so sometimes you just hear their claps and footsteps-- that was how it was supposed to be. I can't find the actual clip on youtube now, and I wanted to share the REAL one. This is really annoying that people overdub great things, I agree-- no need to improve on a film like this-- if JLG saw these it would really piss him off I'll bet.
