I think daniels should team up with other 80`s entertainment giants and do a variety show, with keith harris and hale and pace etc, I really think they could do a sell out tour but on his own he would struggle.

marshalllucky - Daniels carried the torch for UK magic throughout an entire generation. His show also became a showcase for many other fantastic tallents.
His act may have become overly familiar by the mid 90s, but bear in mind how long he'd been performing on prime time BBC1. Absolutely years.
Derren brown could not have developed his style without the evolution period when Daniels reigned supreme. He achieves many effects by use of traditional magic, but cleverly packaged as mentalism.

Daniels show became boring,drab and predictable and when the likes of derren brown came along it became apparent that daniels had seen better days and could not compete.Disappear Daniels...now thats magic!

I've seen other tele-versions of this trick performed by Mark Wilson, David Copperfield, and Lance Burton. But, this gentleman one-ups them all! And, I hope no one minds that this praise comes from a (what's the expression? Oh, yes!) "bloody Yank." ;-)
