Judaism has the advantage of a continuous 3,000 year old culture, which emphasizes learning, scholarship and community - all "legs up" to affluence. Except for a few places like Cuba, black families were separated, destroying their culture. Get a grip people. Those of you who think you know Van Jones and what he's about are getting your information from people with their own agenda. I've met Van Jones, and the bottom line is that he's far from a communist or socialist. He's a capitalist, but a capitalist that wants capitalist who wants profit to flow throughout markets, not just at the top. And you know what? Corporate America is starting to agree, and more and more companies are going green and mvoing to sustainability. Look it up

Here is the problem with Van Jones is that the conversation is "Our People" means black youth only. We have to move beyond this.

I love all people. I feel a great concern for all. We have to start with forgetting color. We have to start with helping the poor grow. The union movement guarantees a continued underclass.

Unions served a purpose and now they are killing us.
