It,s like just like saying that German knights often used Nogay sabres... although it could happen in the heat of battle. But showing history and cultures is not that interpretative and has no need for excuses for carelessness. The thing you do is wonderful but it could become even more educative... perhaps even studying the turk cultures might help, from Uyghuristan and Mongolia upto kazakh, and Krim Tatarlar and even the european ones like the Madjars and Khazars.
Sorry if i bothered.

@Qarakhagan You didn`t bother anyone, don`t worry. The point is, it could have happened; a turanic, or let`s say a nomad warrior could have, at one point, used a shield like that one.Keep in mind, they weren`t that far away... ;) Of course, maybe it`s not the best choice from a historical or even an educational stand point but for this purpose (a show) it was an ideal choice.

Is that a turanic warrior with a knightly shield? You should do more research. though the artistic effect is not bad at all.

@Qarakhagan Turanic warriors were nomads, i.e. they traveled a lot. It`s not that far fetched that one would use the shield or weapons of a fallen enemy, even those of a european knight / warrior.
