  • Brilliant stuff. It really strikes me how much richer the scientific world is as apposed to the religious world. You couldn't make this stuff up.

  • scientific study is observational learning, which can not be said about religion, and thats why i belive science over religion.

  • i honestly shed a tear watching this. it's really remarkable how far humanity has come.

  • @AnarkiCZ but one necessitates truth, and the other convenience and self-satisfaction. right implies involving truth, so science is valid whilst relgion is not.

  • @LIVERLADD A creature? Do you mean creator? Anyways, even if this itself doesn't dismiss a creator, it sure as hell (haha) dismisses the stories in the Bible so why are you a Christian rather than an agnostic?

  • @TheTrueResponder I'm sorry then, I guess I understand your dilemma. But if you want, you can check out some articles in major magazines like Time, Science, etc. that can give you a comprehensive understanding of biology in a simple manner. Even the basic overview of chemistry and biology is good enough to understand the logic behind everything.

  • @Achilles9924

    Thx.

But when I´ve been to school dna didn`t matter at all yet.

(or at least I haven`t got the slightest recall of it being taught!)

  • @TheTrueResponder looks like its been a while, almost a year since you posted this but I couldn't stop myself because you seem to lack the basic understanding of chemistry. Each half string has bases that are polar in nature and tend to form H-bonds with other molecules. The nucleus is like a liquid soup with bases like adenine, guanine, cytosine and thymine floating around. These bases floating in the nucleus form H-bonds and complete the string and an enzyme called ligase joins them together.

  • @AnarkiCZ Sir, I would advise you to refrain from posting unverified claims that seem to make very little sense if any at all. Meditation and inner world of mind or whatever you might be talking about still doesn't help us overcome the fact that our senses are limited and we are unable to sense the true nature of reality objectively which so far only science has been capable of doing.

  • Ouch...religious world is also rich, people just need to study it. Just look at the complexity of yoga. The only problem is that it needs to be experienced, not just studied. Meditation and the inner world of mind and consciousness is also fascinating. All the filters we look at the world can be shut down and then you see the world as it really is. All im saying is that religion and science are 2 different approaches, 2 parts, to the same coin. There is no competition, the is only cooperation

  • This is really a great documentary. Together with the two about the Atom and Chemistry they take the first place in my opinion. Woohoo, there is another episode :)

  • both religion and science is passed on through words and images made by humans, our language. Train of thought is sustained by analogies.. Real, symbolic and imaginary, m'friends.
