KTTY 69 San Diego is now KSWB, which ran independent for 15 years. In 1995 with new call signs under the WB network, then to MY Network after WB and UPN merged, and switched to Fox in June 2008. KSWB prefers to be called "channel 5" instead of 69 in the very end of the UHF band, the FCC wants TV signals to abandon the 52 to 69 range (that use a certain MhZ frequency band) by the year 2012. KUSI channel 51 won't be effected, but KSWB needs a new UHF channel available on the 14 to 51 dial band. +
