Drew and Cheryl - 2009 CPC Gong Show Skit

This is a skit that my friends Drew and Cheryl Miller did in March of 2009 at my church's annual talent show - the Gong Show. I have never laughed so hard.

Drew died on May 18th, 2009 from complications of Cystic Fibrosis. He left behind many friends. But most importantly, he left behind a legacy of love, faithfulness and, as the video shows, good laughs. He didn't care much for the trinkets and baubles that are the things of this world. Rather, he invested in people. He was a pastor to the youth of our church. He made those on the margins feel welcome. and he pointed them to the surpassing greatness of knowing Jesus Christ. He lived a life that demonstrated,even in suffering and hardship, that Jesus is the Supreme Treasure and that it it is no sacrifice to lay aside passing pleasure for enduring joy.
