Vintage Imperial Lava Lamp

This is a pre-1968 Imperial lava lamp. It stands about 4 feet high. These are quite rare. This is the only one I know of in green/blue. All the others I've seen were red/clear or orange/yellow.

@hippyhay1 Great to hear, sure are lucky to own such a beauty, as said I am amazed at its contemporary look for a 43 year old lamp.

@ImMrJet Nah. Various grades of paraffin (from vaseline to candlewax) are mixed together. That gives the "lava" its elastic qualities. Cheers.

@Animalkisser Not as long as you might think. The wax is pretty soft. It takes less than an hour to get it flowing.
