Has anyone been following this guy on TV and the News? I remember him saying as a ground troup he thought that we were in Iraq as a launching point for invading Iran. I'm trying to find that interview so I can post it if anyone knows the show he was on.

glad you made that point. I supported Buchanan in 2000 at the age of 14, was against the iraq war from the beginning as a High school underclassman, and refused to support Bush in 2004 and I still proudly call myself a part of the party of Lincoln, Taft, Roosevelt, and Coolidge.

Good point. Conservatives around the world are not as single-minded and as plain stupid as the GOP. There are exceptions within the party, obviously, but Bush and his gang epitomizes the worst of current Republican policies and ideologies. They're simply unrepentant!
Just for the record: I define myself as a conservative but I definitely don't endorse all this BS and especially don't advocate wars based on false premises and bad intel. Invading Iraq is just plain wrong, period.
