That's great! I already own two MELs and it looks like this one will be my next add. These things are as close to a Star Trek Tricorder as any paranormal investigator can get.

Mel-Meter is superior to the K2. The K2 picks up on stray signals such as cell phones and wi-fi and can lead to false readings.

why does my k2 meter pick up readings in some places where my mel pronav won't read anything. i really like my mel meter but it makes me wonder which one is not correct. any help or advise would be greatly appreciated.

digital recorder would be fantastic,id love to see it added as an option on your Mel-8704R-REM-ATDD or Mel-8704R-REM model,i love the antenna with LED versions that radiates its own magnetic field around that antenna,brilliant idea and a "must" for a detector,throw a high quality digital recorder on there and its a must have for every paranormal researchers arsenal...your company is designing some phenomenal products,im super impressed with what i see

When making a physical measurement or sweeping a room, make sure that the Mel Meter is in the 200mG range. Turn the Temperature OFF to increase the display sample rate to 80msec. This will give you a much faster response. Detection "sweet spot" for the Mel is Top Left and Right where the arrow is located.

This particular unit was made for Zak . A totally different version with digital recorder is in the works for release toward the end of the year.
