  • so if you wanted to use let's say Kingdom Hearts font how would you make sure that everyone downloading your game would have that font.I don't want them to look at my game and see nothing as far as hero names and stuff.

  • @gamesmaster35 Well you are going to have to learn a bit of advanced ruby to allocate using code where your font is in a seperate folder like inside your game you would need to tell ruby how to get the font, but simply when you release your game just have an extra folder called FONTS & use a readme to tell players to put the fonts in thier Windows/fonts folder & then they will now Have the font installed & the game will run with fonts.

  • Say you build a game and post it online, does the person playin the game have to have the font preinstalled on their computer for it to work??

  • There Is A Way To Grab The Fonts From Your Folder Instead Of Doing So The Normal Way, Normally Yes They Have To Otherwise They Wont See Any Writing, However There Are Lines Of Code Not Sure What They Are But They Let You Grab The Font From Within Wherever Directory Like Within The Games Folders Instead....That Way The User Does Not Need The Font Because They Have Been Acquired "Within" The Game!

  • Wow nice but, mine doesn't look like yours....=(

  • There Are Many Versions Of RPG Maker XP, I Have Many As Well & I Chose To Use This One Purely Out Of Choice Of The Labels They Have, At The Time The Official English Version Was Unavailable, Though I Understand Most Users Have The English Official Version, & Thats Why My Next Two Tutorials Will Be Made Using The FEV For Label Compatibility.

  • no i figured it out. oh and by the way, i dont mean to sound accusing but your version is illegal.

  • If Yours Looks NOTHING Like This Then Maybe You Should Re - Check Your Programs Version, Maybe Your Version Is 2003, 2001, Or Even RPG Maker VX!

If This Is Not The Case Then Maybe You Have Another Version ( Hacked ) Or Something?

  • i don't understand because the "main" in my rmxp looks nothing like that!
